-       Tuition is not prorated, refunded or credited for missed classes or holidays

-  If your child is absent due to any reason: illness, vacation, or other activities, payment is STILL due by the 12th class to continue to hold the spot in class for your child. There are NO REFUNDS for missed classes.

-       If your child is no longer taking classes, a notification in writing is required before the start of the next Term. Any outstanding fees on the account must be paid in full upon un-enrolment. Failure to turn in a “Drop” form will result in continued tuition charges and late fees, until we receive a completed form or letter.

-       If parents are splitting payment for their dancer(s), written or spoken consent must be given from BOTH parents as to who is paying what portion of the charges. Any changes that will affect payment must be approved by

both parties, who must each inform our office manager of such changes. It is the responsibility of the parents to figure out payment plans, and not that of the Dance School staff.

-       If you decide to take time off, the re-enrolment fee within the season is €15.

I/We accept and understand that appropriate physical contact may be necessary when giving corrections and hereby give permission for any teacher from Dharmendra Bollywood Dance School to do so.

Policies & Procedures

Please add us on facebook and like our page for any updates, change time and place regarding dance classes or upcoming events.

    Class Procedures:

Please have your child arrive five minutes prior to class start time dressed in the proper clothes, shoes and hairstyle (ballet). Proper technical warm-ups are done at the beginning of class and are vital to preventing injuries.

Clothes:

For Girls: tights or legging and t-shirts. Hair must be tighten, with rubber band pinned back out of your face.

* Loose, Comfortable clothing is recommended.

** For all dance classes, we recommend that dancers wear comfortable clothes or dancewear that will allow them

to move, but is not too baggy that the instructor cannot see proper body movement. Bare feet are acceptable in class, but dancers may wear shoes, socks or Foot Undeez if they’d prefer.

    Observance

Parent’s observance of classes is recommended and encouraged. Parents must view through the viewing windows and are not to sit inside the classroom, unless given the okay from an instructor. Many instructors will invite the parents in at the very end of class every once in a while to give the parents a quick show. This is up to the instructor’s discretion. Due to the small space for viewing in the hallways, please be courteous to other parents and our staff by not allowing young siblings to run around or cluttering the halls in a way that makes other parents or staff not have an open walkway.

    Fees

Fees must be paid in advance. Fees and Registration Fees is non refundable and can not be exchanged against any other service of DBDS IRELAND. Payment of tuition is DUE ON THE EVERY 12th | 4th CLASS OF THE TERM (after first fees paid in advance). Payment of tuition secures enrolment for your child in class. You have until the 12th |4th class of each term to pay the fees. On the 1ST class of new TERM, we will add a €5 late fee per week, unless we havereceived a written notification dropping the child from class prior to the 12th | 4thclass of the month. NO EXCEPTIONS!

    Before And After Class

Dharmendra Bollywood Dance School is not a day care or babysitting service. Dancers are not to arrive any earlier than 15mins prior to class and must be supervised by an adult until class time. When one class ends, another starts; teachers are not responsible for watching students once class has dismissed. Please instruct your child to wait inside the hall for their rides and to inform the instructor if their ride is late. Students are not permitted to wait outside for rides.

    Absences:

Missed classes are not refundable. Tuition is still due to hold the spot for your child. There are no refunds if you drop a class(es) in the middle of the term, illness, choose other activities over dance class, or simply skip class. We request that a parent call or email the Dharmendra Bollywood Dance School to inform the teacher and staff of any illness, or problem a student might be having. If your child has a contagious illness or is injured please keep them out of class until they are recovered and can participate fully without risk or relapse or re-injury. In the case of serious injury, that would require students to miss a month or more of class, tuition might be waived (this is determined by the Dharmendra Bollywood Dance School staff on a case-by-case basis).

   Class Cancelation:

Dharmendra Bollywood Dance School reserves the right to combine classes, change times, provide substitute teachers or replacement teachers, and cancel or combine any class with 6 or less students. These decisions will be made by the director.

    Dropping/Adding Classes

If a student would like to add a class after they are already enrolled, they are welcome to do so. If you’d like to add the class to your schedule you MUST inform the Dharmendra Bollywood Dance School in advance. Any extra tuition associated with the class will be due upon the addition of the class to their schedule, but will be prorated if it is in the middle of the month. Since Dance fees are charged on a month-to-month basis you may drop out of a class at any time. If you have paid a month’s fee and drop during the beginning or middle of the month you will not receive a refund. You may however, finish the rest of the month and drop at the end of that particular month. If you drop classes in the middle of the month and have not paid for that particular month you will be billed at your normal monthly rate for the entire month. To ensure that you do not get billed after you have dropped a class, please make sure to come in and fill out a Drop/Add Form (or mail a letter) so that we may remove you from that class list and our billing records. REMEMBER, UNTIL A DROP/ADD FORM (OR A LETTER/EMAIL) IS COMPLETED, SIGNED AND DATED WE ARE STILL SAVING YOUR CHILD A SPACE IN THE CLASS AND WILL BILL YOU ACCORDINGLY. If you are re-enrolling in the same season, after having dropped out from the school, there will be a re-enrolment fee of €15.
